Robert E Jepko DDS PA: Specializing in Endodontics

What to Expect

Thank you for your interest in understanding what may take place during your scheduled appointment at our office.

Whether you are coming in for a consult or treatment, our receptionist(s), Gloria or Sandra, will greet you. The arrival time given to you is scheduled approximately 15 minutes prior to your appointment in order to allow sufficient time to complete the appropriate paperwork. Our business office staff will be more than happy to discuss any payment, insurance, paperwork or appointment questions that you may have. In order to assure you the shortest amount of waiting time possible, please provide Gloria or Sandra with your current insurance information, if applicable, and any paperwork and/or radiographs (x-rays) your general dentist sent with you or paperwork you previously downloaded and completed for the appointment.

After completing your paperwork, an assistant will escort you to a treatment room where she will ask questions regarding your specific dental situation for documentation and will take radiograph(s) (x-rays) as needed. All of our treatment rooms- or operatories- are outfitted with state-of-the-art digital radiology equipment to reduce the amount of radiation by at least 75%. Each of the assistants are professionally trained to assist Dr. Jepko in each aspect of the office and are available to answer any question you may have either before or after any consultation or treatment.

Once the appropriate radiographs have been obtained, Dr. Jepko will evaluate your unique dental issue. The examination includes testing the teeth in the questioned area and assessing the radiographs taken. Dr. Jepko will then discuss the findings of the exam and radiograph with you, providing the diagnosis of your situation. He will explain all of your options, informing you of the pros and cons of each option, as well as any risks and/or benefits associated with those choices. Dr. Jepko prides himself on making sure patients are confident to make an informed decision for their dental health.
If you are scheduled for endodontic treatment and choose to have treatment, we will then proceed with the root canal. If you are scheduled for a consultation, we will then schedule your treatment for the first available appointment.

Our team is committed to excellence and strives to provide a genuine feeling of concern for your well-being.
